I have been delivering boats and yachts for boat owners since I got my captain's license in 1973. Being a full time yacht broker, I do not do as many deliveries as I used to, but I love to get out of the office and out on the ocean. Plus, when I meet buyers and sellers, my experience on different yachts sets me apart from less experienced brokers.
APPROVED BY BOAT US
I have been approved by BOAT US as a delivery captain, and have been accepted by many different insurance companies as a qualified captain.
If you have a yacht to move, contact me and I may be able to take the time to deliver your yacht to your destination.

BAHAMAS YACHT DELIVERY
Many boat and yacht owners would like to cruise the Bahamas but are concerned about getting across the Gulf Stream with questionable weather. I can deliver your yacht to Nassau, the Abacos, or the Exumas, loaded with provisions, ready for the owner to fly in and enjoy his cruise on his schedule.
Some of the yachts that I have run over the years are follows:
41' Hatteras double cabin, Fort Lauderdale to New York City (my first delivery in 1975)
48' Ocean, Connecticut to St. Petersburg, FL and return
39' Topaz Royale, Connecticut to St. Petersburg, FL
70' Johnson Motor Yacht, Fort Lauderdale to Cleveland, Ohio

110' Crescent Beach Fort lauderdale to Freeport, Grand Bahama
62' Nordhavn, Key West to Norfolk, VA
65' High Tech Motor Yacht, Fort Lauderdale to Nantucket and return
49' Grand Banks, Fort Lauderdale to Bar Harbor Maine and return
Over the years I have done over 30 trips between Florida and New England, and I have done many trips to the Bahamas and throughout Florida. Some of these trips were strictly deliveries for an owner, others when I was working as a full time captain on a yacht. Some other trips were with the owners of yachts to teach them how to safely enjoy their yachts.
My rates run from $300 to $400 per day depending on the yacht and destination, plus expenses. I have a 100 ton USCG Near Coastal masters license, and have been licensed since 1973.
